Our Story

In April of 2022, our family embarked on a new chapter, leaving behind the bustling city life of Williston, ND, for the tranquil plains of South Dakota. With dreams of a simpler, more connected lifestyle, we settled on a small acreage where we envisioned raising animals and cultivating a flourishing garden. The decision to move was driven by a desire to embrace a closer bond with nature and instill in our four children the values of self-sufficiency and stewardship of the land. As we unpacked boxes and set down roots in our new home, we eagerly anticipated the adventures that awaited us, knowing that each day would bring us closer to our vision of a life filled with growth, connection, and the joys of rural living.
